Meet Paul Hunter
My Experience
After working in medium-sized law firms for 25 years, I have decided to become a barrister to enable me to work more directly with clients to help them resolve their problems in a more focused, flexible and agile way.
You will benefit from my more than 25 years' experience as a civil and commercial litigation lawyer in New Zealand including 15 years as a partner in a leading law firm based on the North Shore in Auckland if you instruct me.
areas of practice
I am a general litigator and can help you with a wide variety of legal problems. I have given examples of some common issues I can help you with on my expertise page. However, I can help with a lot of other problems as well.
my approach
I see my role as a problem solver. My goal is to fully understand your situation and your concerns and objectives and to help you reach the best outcome possible for you in the circumstances. I am an experienced litigator. However, litigation is just one of the tools in the legal tool box for doing this.
I also fully appreciate that the litigation process is a highly complex and foreign process for most people and I will do my utmost to demystify the process for you and to ensure you understand what is happening and what your options are at each step along the way.
North-shore based
I am based on the North Shore and Hibiscus Coast but I am available to help clients across Auckland and further afield.
